Join SESC and KDE for 2 Infinite Campus Tools in one session. The Campus Early Warning system is a powerful tool that evaluates each student’s educational record as it relates to successful promotion to the next grade, and likelihood of graduation for grades K-12. It offers a quick way to identify students at risk in various categories. The Early Warning system uses machine learning based on past students’ outcomes within each school with a large number of data points across multiple years. The tool is highly sensitive and picks up on changes in student records (e.g., changes in household composition) that may increase risk. This tool includes many features that can be helpful for various role groups at district, school, and individual levels and is highly visual, interactive and easy to use.The Insights module within Infinite Campus (IC) offers a variety of customizable data visualization tools, allowing users to create tailored reports and analyze school-level trends. The Insights reports enable staff to make data-informed decisions that can positively impact student achievement, teaching strategies, student interventions and overall educational outcomes. #sesccoop #servingyou

Consider this adapted released item from 5th grade: Construct a response to answer the supporting question “How did movement and settlement impact people who left Cuba for the United States?” Use reasoning and evidence from multiple sources to support your response. Write at least two paragraphs.
Across all content areas, many students are not able to satisfactorily respond to questions like this one. So, what are the skills students need to be able to do well to become successful learners and most importantly, how do teachers prepare students to better handle these types of challenges? Our goal is to help make every student a Response-able Learner! In this workshop, participants will explore the critical response-able skills all students need to master and be presented with several tools and strategies that help develop these skills in every learner. #sesccoop #servingyou
