🚀 Exciting Update from the SESC ACCESS Team! 🚀
We recently had the privilege of working with Garrard County School District to help them establish their District Leadership Community Team! This team will play a pivotal role in integrating mental health into their tiered MTSS/PBIS systems—an important step in creating a more supportive, holistic environment for students.
We’re thrilled to see the incredible progress and look forward to continuing our partnership with Garrard County as they work to expand access to quality mental health services for all students. Together, we’re building stronger systems of support for both students and staff! 🌱💙

Join SESC and KDE for 2 Infinite Campus Tools in one session. The Campus Early Warning system is a powerful tool that evaluates each student’s educational record as it relates to successful promotion to the next grade, and likelihood of graduation for grades K-12. It offers a quick way to identify students at risk in various categories. The Early Warning system uses machine learning based on past students’ outcomes within each school with a large number of data points across multiple years. The tool is highly sensitive and picks up on changes in student records (e.g., changes in household composition) that may increase risk. This tool includes many features that can be helpful for various role groups at district, school, and individual levels and is highly visual, interactive and easy to use.The Insights module within Infinite Campus (IC) offers a variety of customizable data visualization tools, allowing users to create tailored reports and analyze school-level trends. The Insights reports enable staff to make data-informed decisions that can positively impact student achievement, teaching strategies, student interventions and overall educational outcomes. #sesccoop #servingyou

The knowledge and skill developed within this session also helps to build a bridge to the psychotherapeutic and trauma informed mental health response sometimes required to address challenges associated with trauma exposure.

Happy Veterans Day from SESC! #sesccoop #servingyou
We need students to be more motivated and engaged in school."" This statement represents the number one request on most teachers’ wish list, and for good reason. Learning is a complex task that requires a commitment by the learner, which then drives their engagement with the work. Many successful and struggling students are unaware of this effect on their learning, so they attribute success or lack of it to forces beyond their control—they see themselves as naturally good or bad at school.
Participants in this workshop will learn new ideas and be exposed to engagement-increasing tools that help students develop better thinking habits, take more ownership in their learning, and help the teacher boost current practices to help students learn more and remember it longer. #sesccoop #servingyou
