The Kentucky Department of Education made funding available under the American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ARP ESSER) to assist Special Education Cooperatives in developing a program to implement initiatives that would support school districts in providing innovative learning opportunities to overcome the challenges faced in our schools as a result of the Covid 19 Pandemic. This grant represents an opportunity for Special Education Cooperatives to provide professional development and support to school districts across Kentucky to explore innovative ways to work with districts to reduce learning gaps and improve the equity of opportunity for all exceptional learners. SESC is pleased to announce that it is a recipient of the ARP Transition Grant. Through this opportunity, SESC will be able to provide professional development and career fairs for our region.
