Southeast/South-Central Educational Cooperative

Curriculum

SESC offers services to assist in the development of curriculum and application of state and national standards. The cooperative provides Math and ELA curriculum and instructional consultants to offer support in those areas.

Math Enduring Skills

With the support of SESC staff, math teachers from the cooperative’s member schools identified enduring skills in math for grades K-8 along with Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. This working group drafted a document listing those skills along with a bank of test items designed to assess student knowledge and progress on the skills. These documents will be amended and expanded annually as more data is gathered.
