Letting Go: Creating a Successful Transition to Adulthood

November 18 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

SESC is offering this workshop in collaboration with the Kentucky Special Parent Involvement Network (KY-SPIN). This workshop will help families understand the importance of “letting go” and how to help their child with a disability find their wings and learn to fly. We will help families learn to brainstorm and begin to think outside of the box and imagine what a desirable future for their child can look like following high school. Resources will be available for families to download. The Zoom link to join and any needed materials will be emailed to registered participants before the date of the workshop.

SESC Event Cancellation Policy – In the event of inclement weather, SESC will cancel events based upon the cancellation of school by the county school district in which the event is to be held. For example, an event scheduled in Pineville Independent School District would be cancelled if school in Bell County School District was cancelled for the day. Please check media announcements for cancellation of school for inclement weather.
