Designing Local High-Quality Curriculum

We are learning about designing a local curriculum that supports standards implementation and promotes student equity. Success Criteria: Differentiate the role of standards, curriculum and instructional resources. Describe the phases of the Curriculum Development Process that supports development of a local curriculum aligned to the Kentucky Academic Standards (KAS). Access resources to support designing a high-quality local curriculum. Define HQIRs and HQPL and explain how they support student and teacher equity.

SESC Event Cancellation Policy – In the event of inclement weather, SESC will cancel events based upon the cancellation of school by the county school district in which the event is to be held. For example, an event scheduled in Pineville Independent School District would be cancelled if school in Bell County School District was cancelled for the day. Please check media announcements for cancellation of school for inclement weather.
