Co-Teaching can have huge benefits for both you, your co-teacher and your students. However, it requires specific skills and attitudes to ensure that students receive united and coordinated instruction so you and your co-teacher(s) have a smooth, stress-free experience. In this professional development, you will learn how to maximize learning with well-planned co-teaching. Additionally, we will explore the six different co-teaching models and determine which have the highest levels of success. Lastly, we will review best practices for co-teaching and building a strong co-teaching relationship, including how to overcome potential conflicts. Participants will also have the opportunity to sign up for a Co-Teaching Community of Practice that will meet 3 times (zoom and one in-person throughout the year for additional support.
